    Briscoe Western Art Museum’s Distinguished Lecture Series

    Join us this fall as we illuminate unique perspectives on the history and future of the American West. All lectures held at the Jack Guenther Pavilion on the Briscoe Campus.

    Writer S. C. Gwynne’s "Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History" spent four months on the New York Times Top 10 Bestseller List and was later a finalist for both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award.
