Dia de Los Muertos

Learn more about the history, traditions, and customs of Day of the Dead through our workshop series that leads up to our Day of the Dead Event on Nov 1st, starting at 3pm, Saturday.
The Esperanza will host a series of Dia de los Muertos workshops for community members to learn the various aspects of this cultural tradition. The Esperanza aims to train other community members on how to make ofrendas/altares, paper flower, and sugar skulls -all of which are vital pieces of the Day of the Dead celebration. Workshops are open to all ages with a $5 más o menos participation fee or free to all 78207 residents. Supplies will be provided to participants.
All workshops and events held at Casa de Cuentos, 816 S. Colorado Street, between El Paso Street and Guadalupe Street.
