Voices of the West Distinguished Lecture Series: Michael Horse

Actor and artist Michael Horse (Yaqui) speaks about the evolving roles and representations of Native Americans in popular media. Horse is best known for the role of Deputy Tommy 'Hawk' Hill in the popular David Lynch TV Series “Twin Peaks” – a role he will revise in the new version of the series, currently in production. In addition to a lengthy career of movie, documentary, and TV appearances, Horse also serves on the board of the American Indian Film Institute. This lecture is held in conjunction with the Native Film Series, which he curated.

Join us as we illuminate unique perspectives on the history and future of the American West. All lectures held at the Jack Guenther Pavilion on the Briscoe Campus.
