    Child Prodigies: Where Are They Now

    Musical Bridges Around the World kicks off its  20th season with its Russell Hill Rogers Musical Evenings at San Fernando concerts with “Child Prodigies: Where Are They Now” featuring San Antonio’s former child prodigies: Nancy Zhou, violin, 1st prize winner of the 2009 Johansen International Competition and the 2009 Chinese International Violin Competition; Daniel Anastasio, piano, graduate of Juilliard School of Music and currently finishing his doctorate of musical arts at Stony Brook University; Veronica Williams, mezzo-soprano, graduate of Boston’s New England Conservatory of Music; and Yvonne Freckmann, composer, commissioned to present original work by MBAW. She is also a recipient of the Fulbright Full Grant for the Netherlands multimedia composition at the Royal Conservatoire.


    A Meet the Artists dessert reception will follow the concert.
