My work centers on intimate, socially engaged storytelling that amplifies voices often overlooked and invites audiences into spaces of empathy, reflection, and dialogue. Working primarily in theatre, I blend realism with poetic and experiential elements, using humor, memory, music, and ritual to explore complex emotional landscapes.
I am drawn to stories rooted in lived experience—particularly those that examine identity, care, grief, justice, and community responsibility. Much of my work engages with themes of trauma, healing, and resilience, with a strong commitment to survivor-centered and audience-aware practices. I believe theatre can function not only as entertainment, but as a gathering place: a site for conversation, education, and collective processing.
My approach is collaborative and interdisciplinary. I prioritize process-driven creation, accessibility, and ethical storytelling, often integrating community partnerships, post-show conversations, and resource-sharing into the life of a project. Whether working with new plays, adaptations, or immersive events, my goal is to create work that is emotionally honest, artistically rigorous, and rooted in care—for both the story being told and the people experiencing it.
