I have been painting for over 25 years. My work is part of many permanent collections including the City of San Antonio, UTSA, San Antonio Museum of Art, Ruby City, Express-News, Brownsville Museum and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. I focus primarily on landscapes, cityscapes, historical, site-specific and portraits. My style is realism, naturalistic with elements of impressionism. I work in large scale 8ft plus, as well as smaller more intimate scales. I work in watercolor, oil and fresco painting.

I received my BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and my MFA from University of California at Los Angeles and attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2018 where I was trained in fresco painting. I currently own a small business called Chamoy City Limits and teach part-time at Northwest Vista College.
