I have been a painter and photographer for more than 25 years. My work is included in numerous permanent collections, including the City of San Antonio, UTSA, the San Antonio Museum of Art, Ruby City, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
I work primarily in landscape, cityscape, historical, site-specific, and portrait painting, as well as documentary photography. My style is rooted in realism with elements of impressionism. I work in watercolor, oil, and fresco, creating both large-scale and smaller, more intimate works.
I received my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and my MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2018, I attended the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, where I studied fresco painting.
