I am a fashion artist. Style, garments and hair tell my stories. I’m from the south side of San Antonio, it’s still home. Fashion is expression and can be a political tool. Fashion is contemporary and speaks of our culture, power and status, in real time. I have a decades worth of editorial work and fashion show/installation under my belt. I work in a creative industry doing hair and makeup for national Broadway tours showing at the Majestic Theater. I have a vintage fashion boutique that focuses on sustainability and up cycling. San Antonio has aided in my professional career as a creative. I’ve shown my work on many stages and galleries throughout this city. I would love to express some new original thoughts that can contribute to the ongoing conversation about our culture.

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):

Fashion is art. Stylists are a type of interpreter. Power, and self are central themes to my work. Up cycling vintage clothes with my own brand of edge, beauty and sex is my style. It’s about letting go of societal expectations and having a point of view.
