Bria Woods

Portrait of the Crossroads, 2021

Bria Woods is a photographer and digital journalist based in San Antonio, Texas. She’s been behind the lens for the past decade, focusing on photojournalism, documentary, and portraiture. Humans and their unique stories are at the crux of her work. While this project mainly features landscape and still life images, Bria applied the same principles of portraiture thus making the Crossroads region her subject.  Her photography has been exhibited in San Antonio, Texas; Halletsville, Texas; Victoria, Texas; and Atlanta, Georgia. Bria’s work has been published on BBC.com, in the Washington Post, in the San Antonio Report, and in Edible SA. Bria is a proud alumna of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and the University of Westminster in London, England. Born and raised in Washington, D.C. she now calls San Antonio her second home where she supports the Spurs and enjoys a mango chamoy paleta on a hot day in the Alamo City.
