Raised in Kansas City, Mo and a self-taught artist, my earlier works were flat colored graphic shapes, the work has progressed to a more dimensional painterly style. I am a painter and a storyteller.   Ideas for my narrative work takes a snapshot of people interacting in social situations.  Work comes from  phrases in songs, poems, and proverbs, as well as novels and movies, providing inspiration for what eventually ends up on my canvas.   I used acrylic paint in the majority of my work.
