Chris Saucedo
Native of San Antonio. Early interests in film photography led to the pursuit of digital media and visual arts. The last 12 years I have dedicated myself to applying my knowledge for work as well as helping others find the same outlet and contribute to the promotion of our culturally-rich city. Growing up in San Antonio I’ve had many opportunities to appreciate the honest character of our city and grow from the array of global influences which San Antonio welcomes into its community. I have traveled throughout the United States, Mexico, South America, Japan, and Canada. With each trip I have gained appreciation for my hometown and look forward to conveying its beauty to others. With interests in cycling and kayaking I have a love for the outdoors and appreciation for our natural resources which I encourage thoughtful interaction with and preservation of.

Artist Statement of Work
Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
Pursuing the art of visual storytelling. My work has been published in print and online. Currently a contributor for Getty Images and contract photographer for industry activations where an immediate turnaround for delivery of photos is necessary. I have experience in photo editing and retouching as well as embedding metadata for Digital Asset Management and cataloging of images. A member of the SXSW photo crew since 2012 and contributed to the onboarding for new members selected to be on the crew which I conducted training/ work shop sessions.
Other photographic interests include environmental portraiture as well as Travel, Action Sports, Product and Culinary culture.
