Christopher Arispe

Christopher Arispe its composer, arranger, teacher and Flamenco Guitarist Born and raised in San Antonio, TX. Music has played an integral part of Arispe’s life since he first picked up a guitar at age 15. He studied Classical Guitar with Terry Muska at San Antonio College and The University of the Incarnate Word, and received his Bachelor of Arts in music in 2017 from Valley City State University.

In 2005, Arispe began studying flamenco with Jose Perello, and subsequently learned the art from El Curro and Los Flamencos de San Antonio.  He has played alongside many dance companies in the region including Los Flamencos de San Antonio, Fandango Dance Company of the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation, Ballet Folklorico de San Antonio, and Fiesta Noche del Rio. Christopher is the former Resident Guitarist at Las Canarias in The Omni La Mansion Del Rio Hotel, on San Antonio’s historic Riverwalk.  He currently performs as a solo flamenco guitarist, accompanist, and as a founding member of Dos Mundos Guitar Duo combining styles of Flamenco, classical and Latin music with Blues, Rock and Jazz.
