Claudette Hopkins

I am originally from Dallas, TX and have lived in San Antonio for over 50 years. I don’t know when I began my love of art, it seems it has always been a part of my life. I majored in Art Education at Texas Southern University, however, to this day, I still consider myself a student of the arts.

I am a realistic portrait artist working mainly with pastels and acrylics. I held the office of President of the San Antonio Ethnic Art Society for 15 years and I am still an active member. I am also a member of the Art of Four. I currently have work hanging at The Eye of the Beholder gallery.
