Artist Statement of Work

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):

At the heart of my work as a performance artist is a passion for connection—between people, disciplines, and stories. Whether through opera, theater, or cross-disciplinary collaborations, I seek to create experiences that invite audiences into intimate, immersive worlds. I am drawn to projects that blend genres and traditions, where music and storytelling converge to spark conversation, emotion, and shared understanding. My approach to performance is deeply rooted in the belief that art is a bridge—one that brings people together across backgrounds and perspectives through storytelling. I find joy in exploring how different artistic forms interact, whether through classical opera infused with technology, experimental chamber works, or innovative theatrical productions. I am particularly interested in fostering curiosity and discovery in both audiences and students alike. Beyond the stage, I am committed to cultivating artistic communities that celebrate collaboration and creative exchange. Whether performing in an opera house, a theater, or a more unconventional space like a brewery, my goal is to craft performances that resonate, inspire, and leave a lasting impact. Through storytelling, music, and the shared experience of live performance, I strive to create moments of connection that transcend the everyday and remind us of the beauty and depth of human expression.
