Daniel Tucker

San Antonio native Daniel Tucker started his career as a film journalist and critic. Experimenting with cameras and narrative since his youth, he made the jump to being a filmmaker in 2016 with his first feature, Ashes. His second feature film, Nothing But the Blood, was picked up by Gravitas Ventures for international distribution. His third feature, Angel, is currently in production. He has written and directed several shorts that have played around the world and awarded accolades including Best Ensemble, Best Texas Short and Best Kill. He enjoys writing character-driven stories that blend genre and invite viewers to reflect on the world around them.
