I am the owner and operator of Good Visualz Productions and recognized as an NAACP award winning filmmaker
I began my entertainment career as a rapper most notably with the group Texabama. After years of performing, I decided that it was time to follow my lifelong dream of being a filmmaker.
After being introduced to my mentor Mike L Jackson and working as assistant director on the films Solomon’s Dilemma and Cost Effective, both shot in SA, I started writing which led me to produce and direct my first film called Freeword: Moment of Impact which can be found on Amazon Prime.
The film won the Freedom Film Award at the Hollywood South Film Festival and was also nominated as a semi-finalist for the Just4Shorts Film and Screenplay Competition. Included with the film was a full soundtrack for which I invited local musical artist to contribute. Along with the album 2 music videos were released to go along with the film.
I released my second film entitled Policing which was co-written by Mike L Jackson and executive produced by the NAACP and Ford. Filmed inside the San Antonio Police Department headquarters Policing has been recognized by the SA Police Union and shown at Northeast Lakeview inspiring community conversations.
We recently released The Odd Life of Shay Little which is a 5 episode sitcom shot in SA. The premise is based on 2 completely opposite dads brought together through lifes circumstances to raise the same daughter.
I am also on the board of SABIFF as well.
