I have been a resident in San Antonio for 44 years. I graduated from UTSA with a BFA in 1996. My artwork revolves around the notion of integration and unity. My latest solo exhibit was at Flight Gallery April 2022 titled “United Collective” featuring a wall of 540 ceramic life masks cast from local San Antonians. I was a feature artist for the McNay Museum of Art for their 60th anniversary show. My work has been published in three major textbooks including: “Criticizing Art: Understanding the Contemporary #3” – McGraw Hill, “Chicano Art for our Millennium” “Triumph of our Communities” – Bilingual Press, as well as the Cow Parade San Antonio and the cover of the Art Collection of the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center.
