Contemporary Gospel singer-songwriter and Author “From Mess To Message”. His story  Detailing his long journey dealing with HIV.  David Jacobe, dubbed locally as “Little Luther”, is known for his soul-stirring vocals. The San Antonio, TX native has been singing in church since the age of 13 and has participated in multiple community choirs such as The Martin Luther King choir. Serving as a choir director for 14 years and proud member for 32 years at Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church, he is currently the praise and worship leader,  For approximately 10 years, he was the founder and lead singer of acapella gospel group Divine Sound.  

David Jacobe is heavily inspired by the likes of Gospel artists Zacardi Cortez, Ricky Dillard, Kenny Lewis and R&B artist Luther Vandross. He has accomplished so much throughout his musical career. He’s worked and written for multiple local artists, and collaborated with the likes of San Antonio’s first Black Female Poet Laureate Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson and sang background vocals for one of his inspirations, Le’Andria Johnson, and Earnest Pugh. He’s also had the privilege of sharing the stage with amazing Gospel artists like The Walls Group, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Rev. James Henderson (Gods Property), Wayne Anthony (James Cleveland Singers) and R&B singer Chico DeBarge.
