Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
I am compelled to create. I'll have an emotion or idea and am forced into action and must find a way to express it. The alternative is oblivion. I enjoy the structure of portraiture, the beautiful hues and action of nature and wildlife photography, and the challenge and creative expression of street photography. I'm obsessed with structure within a design. Working as a graphic designer, I must accommodate a myriad of necessary elements into areas of limited real estate logically and beautifully, thinking about my audience and taking notes from the dominant genre of pop style in the industry I'm producing within. Capturing images for almost 20 years, compelling photography is an intersection between creative vision and preparedness in the world. I enjoy putting myself in beautiful situations & surroundings but also enjoy being prepared to capture them.
