Demetrius Tapia

I am a San Antonio native and current resident artist. Starting photography in 2010, I quickly grew to love personality and emotion in photography. I attended Alamo Community College District focusing on learning about the arts, but I quickly outgrew the program. So, I ended up traveling around the country to learn from other photographers. Since then, I’ve primarily focused on wedding documentary photography. I have been recognized as an innovator in the San Antonio Wedding industry. Most recently, I won Most Emotive Wedding Photographer for 2021 by the Global Wedding Awards. However, I am a well-rounded photographer and have provided commercial images for companies such as American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, UT Health and Science, CPS Energy, Planned Parenthood, San Antonio Zoo, ACCD, etc. I am continually learning as an artist and creator. I have also taught on many occasions.
