Artist Statement of Work

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):

As an artist, I am driven by my fascination with the interplay between color, shape, light, and space. My work combines the principles of mathematics and nature with the emotional impact of color, creating abstract paintings that explore the relationships between the abstract and the real world. In each piece, I strive to capture the essence of a particular moment, emotion, or experience. By collaging geometric shapes into abstract or disrupted spaces, I aim to challenge the viewer's perception of reality and encourage them to see the world in a fresh and unconventional light. The flatness of my work adds an additional layer of tension, inviting the viewer to question their understanding of space and dimension. Through paintings, installations and murals, I hope to engage in a dialogue with the surrounding architecture, landscape, and community, inspiring a greater appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the world. My ultimate goal is to create work that elicits an emotional response, encouraging the viewer to connect with their surroundings in new and meaningful ways.
