My name is Felix Rodriguez. I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mexican American studies in 2013. I spent most of my young adult life being a caretaker for my elderly parents. I like helping out the community in particular those that do not have a voice. I also like to promote mental health awareness.

Artist Statement of Work
Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
I get inspiration from my Mexican American heritage and my community traditions. I use mixed media with a more emphasis in acrylics to encompass the power radiating from my subjects I paint. I found art as an avenue to help with my mental health. I use color to give hope, happiness , and serenity to the viewer.
