I am an emerging ceramic artist, originally born in Mexico in 2005 and now residing in San Antonio, Texas. My artistic journey is deeply intertwined with my heritage and culture, drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of my homeland and the values instilled in me by my family. Through my work, I strive to convey meaningful messages, whether they pertain to femininity, social issues, or broader human experiences. However, at the heart of my creative expression lies an enduring passion for capturing and sharing the beauty, vibrancy, and joy of life. My art is not only a reflection of my identity but also a means of storytelling, evoking emotions and sparking conversations that resonate beyond cultural boundaries.

Artist Statement of Work

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):

My artwork is a reflection of my deep connection to my Mexican heritage, a celebration of culture, tradition, and identity. Through clay, I mold pieces that embody the vibrancy, resilience, and spirit of my people, using form, texture, and color to tell stories that transcend words. My creations are infused with joy, inspired by the rich artistry of Mexican craftsmanship, yet they also serve as a platform for deeper messages—addressing themes of femininity, social struggles, and the complexities of human experience. Each piece I shape is a testament to the power of art as both an expression of beauty and a voice for change, blending cultural pride with contemporary narratives that invite reflection and dialogue.
