Garcia is the creator of the ongoing comic series, Boney Toe (self-published), based on his late father’s experience as a young Chicano in San Antonio, circa the 1950s - 1970s, as well as the visual arts production site, Baby Gibo (original art, artist prints, comics, and zines), and the curatorial group, 2 Rad Curators. For more than 15 years, Garcia’s work has explored various disparities experienced by marginalized communities, particularly as they pertain to inner-city violence and systems of control that exist in communities across the U.S.
