Giomara Bazaldua

Giomara Bazaldua is a multi-faceted performance artist. ‘Gio’ has a cutting edge Panza Fusion style that blends tribal belly dance with other genres from Ballet Folklorico to Modern, and fire dance. She has brought this original style to the San Antonio community to create Zombie Bazaar Panza Fusion. Zombie Bazaar is queer based and uses performance art to bring movement to THE MOVEMENT. These artists bring awareness to issues like immigration, the right of the LGBTQ, and women’s issues and can be seen performing their Tejana Politica blend of dance en las calles de San Anto.
