I’m a 26-year-old artist, born in California and raised in El Paso, Texas, deeply rooted in my Mexican heritage. My cultural background plays a central role in both my identity and my creative expression. Growing up surrounded by the rich traditions, colors, and stories of Mexican culture, I developed a deep appreciation for the everyday beauty and strength found in my community.

My work is a celebration of that heritage honoring the people, places, and moments that have shaped me. Whether I’m painting scenes from traditional Mexican towns, capturing the spirit of lowrider culture, or exploring the symbolism of Día de los Muertos, I strive to create pieces that feel both personal and universal. Through my art, I aim to tell stories that resonate with pride, nostalgia, and cultural love.

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):

I am a visual artist specializing in vibrant, culturally enriched paintings that celebrate the beauty and heritage of Mexican culture. My work combines elements of realism with a colorful, surreal twist, creating immersive scenes that transport viewers to the lively streets and towns of Mexico. I often focus on the intricate details of traditional clothing, architecture, and nature, evoking a deep connection to the people, places, and stories that make up my cultural identity. Growing up in El Paso, Tx, I was surrounded by the rich artistic traditions of my homeland. From a young age, I was captivated by the works of great Mexican muralists like Diego Rivera and the iconic self-portraits of Frida Kahlo. This early exposure ignited my passion for art and storytelling, pushing me to develop a unique style that merges realism with imaginative details, capturing the essence of both the past and present. My work is known for its intricate brushwork, vibrant color palette, and symbolic storytelling. Each painting is a narrative, featuring strong, expressive characters dressed in traditional garments, surrounded by the architecture, flora, and cultural motifs that define Mexican life. My goal is to create art that not only pleases the eye but also sparks conversations about culture, identity, and heritage.
