Hector Romero here excited as ever just beginning to venture out into the art world here in the busy warm city of San Antonio, Texas. A painter coloring canvas with vibrant colors to draw and entice spectators and dreamers alike. Primarily in acrylic paint, infatuated with art since an early age pursued several outlets and projects at The Contemporary Austin Jones Center in my youth. Just a pursuit of discipline, study and style development since then.
My art is the depiction of an unreal reality which is based on what can be the unorthodox order of life and its beauty. The idea that you can find loveliness almost anywhere and the sophisticated nature of existence and energy.
Currently working on a new series (body of work) mid-large scale acrylic paintings on canvas, with shows and appearances at pancakes and booze, the brick and the Jewel in South Town San Antonio.
You can find me jogging some trail, in deep thought or concentration repairing automobiles specifically performance vehicles or meditating and reflecting with some hot coffee.

My art is the depiction of an unreal reality which is based on what can be the unorthodox order of life and its beauty. The idea that you can find loveliness almost anywhere and the sophisticated nature of existence and energy.
The value of a piece of art is priceless as the act of the creation is a piece of time captured forever, the value in time and you never have the same moment again, time is fleeting and yet ever present.
