Hol Nañes is a multi-disciplinary Latiné artist in South Texas. With a MFA in Directing at Texas State University class of 2021, and received her BA in theater from Smith College class of 2006. Holly has been working steadily in the field for over fifteen years wearing the many hats of theater, onstage and off, creating new works and old. As a director and theater maker, she gets the opportunity to create an environment of collaboration, tolerance, and inclusivity with the many theater makers in the field. “For me, it’s an opportunity to widen my field of perception of the world through the understanding of different points of view and the many ways we can create work. She is a co-founder of FIRE Collaborative a collective of multi-disciplinary performance artists who produce new and original work and a company member and board member of Jump-Start Performance Company where she has performed, written, and directed and created for on numerous occasions.
