Born in the 70s and raised in the 80s in one of San Antonio’s predominantly low income Latino communities, The Cassiano Homes, I hoped, wished, and dreamed for more representation of color, of the Latino Brown Community in the Arts. There have been many improvements within this century for people of color, 2SLGBTQIA+ and those friends with disabilities in the arts, but more needs to be done; to be more inclusive and to demonstrate acceptance to people of color, 2SLGBTQIA+ and people with disabilities. Through my personal experiences, my disabilities, my adaptability, and my resilience along with the constantly changing world, I proudly, through my craft, represent each and every misrepresented community and person; to inspire, to give hope, show strength and leadership. It is both as an actor and a professional leader in business that I strive to continue to demonstrate leadership through emotional intelligence, self awareness, and the continued push and sharing to always demonstrate and provide opportunity through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for all.
