Joe Walmsley

My Name is Joe Walmsley. I am a musician/Singer/Songwriter originally from Liverpool England. I began my musical career in My native Liverpool at the age of thirteen performing in bands and as a Solo artist for over twenty years. I have also performed across Europe including a long Weekend show for the British army in Dortmund Germany when I was twenty years old. I spent five years in the cruise line industry, three as a production vocalist and two as an Entertainment director. I came to San Antonio in 2006 to work as House Musician/Entertainer at Waxy O Connors Irish Pub on the San Antonio Riverwalk and have been the Entertainer there for sixteen years. I have released four albums since being in San Antonio. BELIEVE (2007) LIVE AT LA VILLITA (2013) LIVE @ WAXY O CONNORS  ON ST.PATRICKS DAY (2013) SCOUSER IN THE ROOM (2017) and latest EP  featuring three tracks TOO DRUNK TO UBER, THE MOTHERLAND IS CALLING & ISN’T IT A BLESSING. (2021) I have played many showcases performing my own music in New York City and Austin.

I also present a weekly Radio show on Ex Pat Radio which is an award winning station founded in France. The station now has over 94,000 listeners daily and I am the only presenter in the United States.
