Artist Statement of Work
Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
San Antonio is my home and the Westside is my heart. My path has always been illuminated by art, community, family, and service. My roots run deep at San Anto Cultural Arts, both as a volunteer and a lead muralist. Living on the Westside for most of my life makes me proud and determined to inspire youth and community who might feel like they have nothing to offer. I have experienced a lot of beauty and many challenges in this life, but I strive to learn and teach others that art and community can save lives.
