At age 15, Josh began composing in response to his grandmother undergoing successful cancer treatment and has since written, arranged, and produced countless pieces throughout his career. Music has since been a vehicle for Josh to express emotion, connect with others, and embrace the world around him. Josh owns and operates a recording studio out of his home, where he is frequently called upon to produce and score music in styles such as cinematic, modern pop, folk, orchestral, and contemporary worship. Collaborating with notable musicians, videographers, and producers in San Antonio, Josh’s latest composition and video production, “The Cure,” was released online in the spring of 2021, in order to honor those who lost their lives to the COVID-19 pandemic. “The Cure” has since gathered more than 30,000 views on Facebook. In 2020, Josh had the honor of composing a theme song for the Any Baby Can of San Antonio Gala, benefitting families of children with special needs. Josh is currently working on composing media scores for a 260 episode collection of short films. He is also working as a co-composer for a 31 episode production in Brazil. He plans to begin work on an original score and production for a project in late 2023 called “Prayers For Cassie”, that will benefit cancer research in San Antonio and beyond. He resides in San Antonio with his wife, Allison, and two children, Claire and Jonah.
