As a San Antonio native; an artist and an educator I have a background rooted in digital art, design, and architectural construction. Many of my installation pieces directly connect with ideas of place-making as a celebration of both a moment and time. In my practice, this celebratory moment becomes a playful expression for the public of all ages to enjoy and engage with new media in a timeless place. Prior to my work in education, I had a career in architecture. It is from my experiences working in the architecture field where I developed the know-how in creating installations, the use of technology, and fabricating sculptures. This study has long engaged my imagination with a curiosity for materials and storytelling.
