I create images that represent the beauty found in the world around me. Light, color, and shape fascinates me. Capturing the unique personality of a beloved animal, the beauty of how light falls on a landscape, the angles of faces of all ages and the spirit shining through their eyes has been my obsession since I was very young.

I work in many mediums to include oils, acrylic, watercolor, graphite, and mixed media. Most of my work is representational. I begin with an image that intrigues me and decide what medium will best convey the feeling I am trying to relate. Lately I have been working on larger and larger surfaces. My base layers are usually very tight visually with looser marks added to convey movement in the final stages.

I completed a BFA in painting from Abilene Christian University and an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin. I have been a producing artist for 30 years. I am a proud Military Spouse for 25 years. My husband and I are currently living at Fort Sam Houston and we love this community!
