I got started in filmmaking when I and my high school friends made a series of short "horror" videos with my new puppy way back in 1987. Our first series was The Mutant Little Puppy From Hell. One summer we did a bigger short film about a detective named John Bondage: Agent 770 who must battle if nemesis Dr. Doctar. After high school, I went to San Antonio College and took their Film Course and left with three super 8mm film shorts. After SAC came a plethora, yes I said a plethora, of filmmaking jobs for numerous projects. Industrial spots, commercials, feature films, TV spots, and short films. I have been a camera operator since day one. Then from 2012 to 2017 I became a Steadicam owner/operator and operated for features, commercials, shorts, corporate videos, and TV shows. I still enjoy being a camera operator but am now doing more producing and some directing. My producing partner, and writer, have a slate of four short films we are currently developing and hope to shoot in 2024. I am also a huge proponent of shooting on film and using practical effects and plan on utilizing these whenever I can.
