I am a Mexican writer, living and writing under the illuminated sky of San Antonio, Texas. My path toward literature began in the halls of the Universidad Iberoamericana, where I immersed myself in Latin American Literature—not just as an academic pursuit, but as a declaration of who I longed to become. I wanted to be a writer!
It did not take long to understand that the craft of writing demands more than desire; it is calling. One must read voraciously, live deeply, and surrender to the solitary hours dedicated to writing.
In 2021, driven by the love to my mother tongue and a commitment to cultural preservation, I founded Tertulia Literaria, a literary circle devoted to nurturing the Spanish language within the United States and celebrating the enduring power of literary art. This group has become a gathering place for voices to express their thoughts about literature, art, social issues, economic challenges, history and more.
Like my beloved Chekhov—doctor by day, writer by night—I found a curious harmony between worlds. Advertising became my profession, my legal husband; literature, one of my most passionate and enduring lovers.

I specialize in fiction, that vast and generous form that grants me the space to breathe life into characters, to weave intricate stories, and to illuminate the quiet details that so often slip unnoticed through the cracks of everyday life. I believe we are all drawn to a well-told tale—regardless of age, taste, or time. Storytelling is ancient, elemental; it speaks to something deep within us, the most primal way we make sense of the world and connect to one another.
Years ago, I received a handwritten note from Isabel Allende, a cherished literary voice. In it, she reminded me that writing is often a lonely endeavor—that releasing a book into the world can feel like casting a message in a bottle into the vastness of the sea. She ended her note with a quiet truth that has stayed with me ever since: “It is nice to know sometimes it reaches another shore and someone like you can read it.”
Like her, I write with the hope that my words drift toward a reader who is open—open to being moved, transformed, seen….
My first published book, Nana Kútsï, Cómo la historia de los cuentacuentos nace, will be released in 2025. It is the beginning of many messages I hope to send your way.
