Mark Lee Walley

Mark Lee Walley is a San Antonio based cinematographer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and co-founder of Walley Films, an independent video production studio dedicated to the documentation and advocacy of the visual and performing arts in San Antonio. Mark has acted as director of photography and original score composer on documentary series for Rice University Art Gallery, Moody Center for the Arts, San Antonio Museum of Art, and Glasstire. Mark co-directed the feature length documentary Tía Chuck: A Portrait of Chuck Ramirez with his 19-year collaborator, Angela Guerra Walley. He also served as director of photography and composed the film’s score. Mark is a founding member of the indie-pop band, Dreambored. In 2020 Mark recorded and produced the band’s debut album, Loved Ones, and co-wrote and directed the music video for their first single, Coming Down. Dreambored has opened for touring acts Jessica Lea Mayfield (Los Angeles), Gustaf (NYC), Juniors Del Gueto (Monterrey), Shy Boys (Kansas City), Krista Muir (Montreal) and has been featured on The Lonesome Lounge Sessions, KRTU’s Live and Local, and Texas Public Radio Live. Mark is currently writing songs for Dreambored’s sophomore album.
