Drawing inspiration from found objects, song lyrics and figures of speech, my work has addressed a variety of themes from pop culture and consumerism to gender and cultural identity. I am currently exploring my multi-cultural roots and feminine experience through self portraiture, using my figure as a symbol for concepts such as personal freedom, self-awareness, self-acceptance and empowerment.
