I am a San Antonio-based musician who has been creating music for the past 18 years, and have found success within the underground music scene. I have been able to contribute to the development of a niche genre within my community that fuses elements of punk, electronica and experimental rap along with my group GothBoiClique. Over the years ive collaborated with several leading figures in the underground music scene across the nation, including Lil Peep, Suicide Boys, and Joeyy. This was able to bring my sound to a wider audience. I have been able to build a fan base which has allowed me to tour nationally. I have also had the oppurtunity to be mentioned in the Netflix documentary “Everybody’s Everything” and an article by Rolling Stone “The Tragedy and Torment of Lil Peep March 3/8/2019” as well as have my song “When You’re not Around” featured in the pc and Xbox one version of the video game “Session”

Artist Statement of Work

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):

Jpdreamthug is a combination of the gritty and dark and the glamorous and light-hearted. The juxtaposition of the two worlds coming together through music to create something powerful is exciting. I love the idea of making music that is challenging yet accessible and exploring sound scapes is something that keeps me coming back to creating. I hope to inspire others by continuing to create music that is experimental and thought provoking. Streaming service revenue/live shows along with merchandise sales make up a big portion of my income and ability to continue doing what i love. I also provide paid features and commissioned album art for other artists.
