Hi my name is Nayab Nobahar, I am a Persian/Asian/- American artist, born and raised in San Antonio Texas. Being raised in multiple conflicting environments, I like to explore the themes of identity and home in my artwork. My art centers around poetry, which I visually bring to life using paint, digital art, or ceramics. I use heavy symbolism and my multicultural identity to create something more than a story, like a siren call for others drifting alone in the sea.

I like to explore darker themes with fantasy and symbolism. The concept and questioning of identity can be seen in many of my pieces.
