I am a Texas born artist with my B.F.A. in metals and jewelry from S.C.A.D. for many years I worked to sustain my fine jewelry business but around 2016 decide to make the decision to switch back to visual arts and never look back. I now focus primarily on whimsical, colorful, and cat themed creations. I use inspiration from my own 3 cats and also love to input lots of myself and m y culture withing the things I create. My favorite and main form of art is watercolor but I also have started to sculpt m y own figurines that I then 3D print and decorate. I want to bring smiles and inspire others to embrace their creativity while also embracing the whimsical and silly side of things.

When I was younger i put a lot of stock in trying to create artwork that I thought would be deemed "serious" When i came ck to the visual arts I wanted to create artwork that made me happy. If I create something that I love, that brings me joy, then I can bring others joy. Life is serious but it is also magical and whimsical. I want my work to reflect that, which i why I love to try n make puns of things and why I focus mainly on creating cat themed work. I have 3 cats currently and they are the silliest, they offer me endless inspiration! I also love to try and incorporate the love of my culture and background into the things I create. Being able to share this with people who visit from other countries or even states brings me so much joy, to be able to explain the significance of things like my Day of the Dead inspired pieces, to hyping up the plans I have for my cat themed loteria series, sharing my culture and myself with people give my life so much purpose.
