Nevaeh Mendoza is a self-taught San Antonio artist who primarily works with acrylic paint, creating impressionistic landscapes and realistic portraits inspired by nature. Her process begins with spontaneous color mixing and layered paint applications, allowing images and memories to emerge organically on the canvas. Often incorporating hidden shapes and visual “Easter eggs,” she embraces creativity, intuition, and freedom of expression rather than following a predetermined plan. Using mostly primary colors and strong color theory skills. Mendoza creates vibrant, nostalgic works that connect viewers to the beauty and imagination found in the natural world.
