NICHOLAS HOLSTEIN is the Executive Director for HUG ME (Helping to Unite by Generating Mental Empowerment) Ink, a nonprofit he co-founded who educates and advocates on mental health awareness and bullying prevention through the arts. He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended and graduated high school from Texas Military Institute, received an Associates degree in Communications from New Mexico Military School, obtained a Bachelor’s in Sociology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently in the process of pursuing a Master’s degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. He’s an Event Manager, Entertainment Director, Marketing and Sales Director, Playwright, Screenwriter, Director, and Producer. He has written numerous plays and musicals as well as written MANCHESTER HIGH, a film series about the issues teens go through. Mr. Holstein has worked in schools as a Counselor and Theatre Arts teacher since 2001. His passion is to make sure everyone knows that you can live your dreams no matter what challenges you have to overcome.
