Norbe Mendoza

Norbe Mendoza is a Filipino-Mexican artist based in San Antonio, Texas, whose work is inspired by the vibrant culture, traditions, and people of his hometown. Through bold color, symbolism, and storytelling, he creates art that celebrates identity, community, and resilience.

Drawing from both his Filipino and Mexican heritage, Norbe incorporates skeletons(which serves as a cultural bridge between the two identities), flowers, religious imagery, and hearts to explore themes of family, faith, love, and belonging. His work reflects the rich blend of cultures that shape San Antonio, capturing both the joy and struggle that define the human experience.

Influenced by the city’s colorful spirit and deep-rooted traditions, Mendoza strives to create artwork that feels alive.
