Papi Culo (they/elle/Papi) is a trans non-binary drag artist, show producer, and cultural curator who brings bold, gender-bending fantasies to life on stage through their creativity, cultural tributes, and (of course) culo! With over eight years of experience working in advertising/marketing, event production, and community-building, Papi merges artistry with advocacy, crafting immersive experiences that celebrate identity and self-expression for performers and audiences alike. In San Antonio, they launched Demon Daddies, the city’s first all-king and non-binary performer brunch, setting the stage for a new era of drag excellence. Whether commanding the mic as an emcee, producing groundbreaking shows, or leading conversations on diversity and representation, Papi ensures every performance is a celebration of authenticity, culture, and community.
Papi Culo is more than a persona—it’s a declaration of authenticity, joy, and defiance. Rooted in the rich traditions of Latine culture and the fearless artistry of queer performance, my drag is a fusion of movement, music, and storytelling. Inspired by icons like Prince and Janelle Monáe, I challenge mainstream gender norms, reimagine masculinity, and celebrate the expansiveness of identity.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to community—not just as an audience, but as a collective force for abundance and success. My artistry is about creating spaces where the LGBTQIA2S+ community can see themselves reflected, uplifted, and empowered to thrive. Drag, to me, is more than personal expression—it’s a vehicle for communal joy, shared victories, and lasting impact. I believe that when we invest in each other, we all win.
My approach is collaborative, culture-driven, and deeply intentional. Every project I take on involves working with and for my community, ensuring that performers are cared for and given the space to shine. As a producer, I prioritize the well-being and success of those I collaborate with, fostering an environment where artistry is celebrated, and performers are supported holistically.
The work I do as Papi Culo is more than just performing—it’s about building something lasting. It’s about creating spaces where we uplift one another, push boundaries, and redefine success on our own terms. Through my work, I strive to ensure that drag and artistry aren’t just seen, but felt—leaving behind a legacy of empowerment, authenticity, and collective triumph.
