Pleasure Delay

Pleasure Delay is the musical project of Abra Schnur and Rodrigo Castro.  Both have been in previous bands; Rodrigo in Leopoldgreen and Mechanical Walking Robot Boy and Abra in Mira Radar and The Motion (in Houston).  After an extended period away from San Antonio, each found their way home during the pandemic and looked to reconnect with the SA music scene, which for obvious reasons, was not the best time.  This studio project has evolved into live performances with accompanying visuals.  Pleasure Delay is lyrical introspection and dark imagination from Abra and driving musical hooks from Rodrigo.   Styling inspiration is from The Cure, Joy Division, Garbage, Goldfrapp, and Tamaryn.  Pleasure Delay’s sound fits within New Wave, Post-Punk, Indie, Pop-Rock, and Alternative.
