Artist Statement of Work

Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):

I never know what I am going to create until it is finished. I make everything including maps, collage art, intricate writings, and poems. In doing this kind of work, there are no holds barred. Everything is an inspiration to me. But especially, emotions, the human experience, and human interaction. I always try to keep in mind that no one person holds the whole story and whatever I can contribute must be enough to satisfy my desire to simply make. If I had to define a theme or subject, it would be the human condition and the fire that a human spirit holds in prevailing in this world. And there is a hope to capture the voices that often go unheard.
