I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I was a former standout wide receiver from Theodore Roosevelt High School and spent most of my life playing football and sports. I stay active by weightlifting and doing running events. I am also a proud Tough Mudder finisher and have ran the Beach to Bay relay marathon seven times.
I have always wanted to be involved in filmmaking, but only saw it as an unobtainable dream. This all changed when I responded to a request for a production assistant for the local film, “Sanitarium”. At that moment I believed it was time to take my dream seriously. Since, I have participated in four, 48-hour film festivals. One as a writer, two as the director of photography and one as the director. I am a self-taught filmmaker and my first short film, “Pyros” had its world premiere at the San Antonio Film Festival in 2015. I still have a full-time job and father of two. I hope to turn my dream of being a working filmmaker into reality.
