Shannon Sionna

Shannon Ingrassia-Murphy, better known as the artist Shannon Sionna, is bringing a new vibe to Pop-Soul Fusion in Central Texas. She is a versatile singer, songwriter, and classically trained thespian born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She has been performing live since 2004, and later went on to be classically trained in vocal performance in 2006, chorale trained in 2012 and musical theatre trained in 2015. Shannon participated in the Our Part of Town Talent Show in San Antonio from 2006-2011 and won the semi finals twice. From 2013-2016 Shannon founded and became president of the FIRST A Capella group to reside at Texas State University and the legacy she left behind is still active to this day. 2016 is also when she dropped her first two solo singles on Soundcloud called “You don’t have to cry” and “I know”. After graduating Texas State University in winter 2017 with a degree in Theatre: Performance and Production, Shannon spent the next few years building her foundation and audience fan base by performing all around San Marcos and having a few shows in Austin and San Antonio. She dropped an EP called 20:16 in 2019, spent that year touring around the major cities of Texas performing her EP. In 2022, the single ‘Halfway to 30’ was released from her upcoming EP: Vienna (Fall 2022), has a song coming out with Cynthia Lee Fontaine in April 2022 and just finished performing in her first SXSW.
