Sharriah Martinez, a born and raised San Antonio, Texas, multimedia artist specializing in large scale paintings and murals. My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for the natural world, drawing inspiration from insects, botanical forms, and organic patterns. Through intuitive mark making and thoughtful repetition, my practice explores themes of transformation, mindfulness, and self reflection. Teaching is an integral part of my artistic practice, informing my belief that art can foster connection, healing, and community. Through both my artwork and community based art education, I aim to create spaces that invite curiosity, and deeper connection to the natural and spiritual worlds.
