Hey, my name is Swerv O Harold (real name Shawn Oliver Harold Ervin) and I am a self-taught, contemporary artist based out of San Antonio, TX.
The main goal I strive for with my art is to draw the viewer in and evoke a strong, lasting, emotional attachment through minimalistic imagery that can be serious yet playful at the same time.

Artist Statement of Work
Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
Medium used is typically ink, acrylic, and spray paint on canvas.
Artist influence include Piet Parra, Keith Haring, and Modigliani, to name a few.
The overall impact that I want my art to have is to be engaging and be relatable among all people regardless of social status, and also for people to acquire a deeper appreciation for art, outside the work being simply “pretty” or “ugly”.
